Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems are manufactured of medical degree Ti6Al4V-ELI in compliance with ISO 5832-3 and ASTM F136.
Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems consist of Straight, Curved, Trochanteric Hook, Proximal Femur, Distal Femur and Attachment Plates.
Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems are designed for temporary fixation to ensure stability and union of traumatic fractures, periprosthetic fractures, osteotomies performed during prosthesis revision or iatrogenic fractures.

Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems are compatible with Ortholox® UHMWPE Cerclage Band System thanks to its Plate-Band Button Implant and in combination, they assist in keeping the displaced bone fragments together.

Indications:

• In the fixation of spiral or long oblique diaphyseal fractures of large bones such as femur, tibia and humerus,
• In the fixation of femoral osteotomies performed in parallel with the shaft in revision hip prosthesis surgeries,
• In the fixation of avulsion fractures in trochanter major,
• In the fixation of femur distal fractures occurring after knee prosthesis surgeries,
• In the fixation of new fracture complications that occur at the end of short nails used for the fixation of femur proximal or distal fractures.

Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Straight and Curved Cable-Plate Systems have coaxial combi-holes and have 2 to 16-hole options. They are used with 5.0mm locking head screws, 4.5mm cortical screws and 5.0mm periprosthetic locking screws. The structure of the holes is also compatible with 5.0mm Insert screws, Plate-Band Button Implant and Locking Attachment Plate connection screws.

The systems can be used for traumatic or periprosthetic fractures or osteotomies in the diaphysial region of long bones such as femur, tibia and humerus.

Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Trochanter Femur Hook Cable-Plates have coaxial combi-holes and have 2 to 16-hole options. They are used with 5.0mm locking head screws, 4.5mm cortical screws and 5.0mm periprosthetic locking screws. The structure of the holes is also compatible with 5.0mm Insert screws, Plate-Band Button Implant and Locking Attachment Plate connection screws.

They can be used for the fixation of periprosthetic shaft fractures and trochanter major fractures, osteotomies of the femur in parallel to the shaft in hip prosthesis revision surgeries, fixation of osteopenic bones and revision for cases of nonunion or malunion of broken bones. Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Proximal Femur Cable-Plates have coaxial combi-holes and have 4 to 16-hole options. In the shaft part, they are used with 5.0mm locking head screws, 4.5mm cortical screws and 5.0mm periprosthetic locking screws. In the proximal part, they are used with 5.0mm cannulated locking cortex screws and 6.5mm cannulated locking cancellous screws. The structure of the holes in the shaft part is also compatible with 5.0mm Insert screws, Plate-Band Button Implant and Locking Attachment Plate connection screws.

They can be used for periprosthetic femur fractures, simple intertrochanteric, reverse intertrochanteric, transverse intertrochanteric, trochanteric region fractures including complex multifragmented and medial cortex instabilities, proximal femur fractures with ipsilateral shaft fractures, metastatic proximal femur fractures, proximal femur osteotomies, basicervical/subcapital femoral neck fractures, subtrochanteric femur fractures and fixation of osteopenic bones and also revision of nonunion or malunion

Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Condylar Distal Femur Cable-Plates have coaxial combi-holes and have 4 to 16-hole options. In the shaft part, they are used with 5.0mm locking head screws, 4.5mm cortical screws and 5.0mm periprosthetic locking screws. The structure of the holes in the shaft part is also compatible with 5.0mm Insert screws, Plate-Band Button Implant and Locking Attachment Plate connection screws.

They can be used for periprosthetic distal femur fractures, supracondylar fractures, distal femur fractures extending into joints, intercondylar fractures, distal diaphysial femur fractures and fixation of osteopenic bones and also revision of nonunion or malunion.

Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Attachment Plates have a round hole structure and have 2 to 8-hole options. They are used with 3.5mm locking head screws and 3.5mm periprosthetic locking screws. They can be attached to Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems via a connection screw and inner screw compatible with 4.5mm screw holes.
In cases where plates used for fixation in periprosthetic fractures are insufficient to hold fragments, these plates can be used as supporting implants. They ensure additional stabilization in osteoporotic bones.
