Ortholox® Titanium Screw Systems are manufactured of medical degree Ti6Al4V-ELI in compliance with ISO 5832-3 and ASTM F136.

Ortholox® Titanium Screw Systems consist of the following types of screws: cortical, locking cortical, locking cannulated cortical, locking cannulated cancellous, locking insert, locking attachment plate inner and connection screws, locking periprosthetic plate-band button implant and blunt tip locking periprosthetic screws.

Ortholox® Titanium Screw Systems have hexagonal recess and are used with an allen screwdriver.

Thanks to its special design, Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Plate-Band Button Implant assists in the safe application of Ortholox® UHMWPE Cerclage Band System or CoCr/Titanium metal cables by the placement of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems in the screw hole.  

Ortholox® Locking Insert Screws with a diameter of 5.0 and 6.5mm are manufactured for preventing the destruction of plate hole threads during plate bending as well as facilitating removal surgeries by preventing the bony ingrowth into plate holes by being inserted into the screw hole of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems. 5.0mm locking insert screws are used in the shaft part of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems, and those with a diameter of 6.5mm are used in the head part of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Proximal Femur Plates.

Ortholox® Locking Insert Inner Screw and Ortholox® Locking Insert Connection Screw are used for the attachment of Locking Attachment Plates to Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems. Once the inner screw is locked in the holes of the plates, locking attachment plate is placed and the connection screw is tightened.

Ortholox® Locking Cortical Self-Tapping Blunt Tip Screws have threads on the head and can be locked to plate holes. Screws with a diameter of 3.5mm are used with locking attachment plates and 5.0mm screws are used with Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems. Lengths of screws range from 12-20mm in 2mm increments. 

Ortholox® Locking Cortical Self-Tapping Screws - 3.5mm are used with Locking Attachment Plates. These screws with cortical threads have a length between 12-70mm. Lengths up to 50mm are in 2mm increments and lengths between 50-70mm are in 5mm increments.
Ortholox® Cortical Self-Tapping Screws - 4.5mm have cortical threads and are used with Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems. The lengths of these screws that allow compression vary between 12-95mm. Lengths up to 50mm are in 2mm increments and lengths between 50-95mm are in 5mm increments.

Ortholox® Locking Cortical Self-Tapping Screws - 5.0mm are locking head screws and they are used with the metaphyseal part of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Cable-Plate Systems Distal Femur and Proximal Femur Plates. The lengths of these locking head screws range from 12-100mm. Lengths up to 50mm are in 2mm increments and lengths between 50-100mm are in 5mm increments.

Ortholox® Cannulated Locking Cortical Self-Tapping Screws - 5.0mm are locking head screws and they are used with the metaphyseal part of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Proximal Femur Cable-Plate System. They have a cannulated structure for easy placement over the guide wire. The lengths of these screws with cortical threads range from 30-110mm. Lengths up to 50mm are in 2mm increments and lengths between 50-110mm are in 5mm increments.

Ortholox® Cannulated Locking Cancellous Self-Tapping Screws - 6.5mm are locking head screws and they are used with the metaphyseal part of Ortholox® Locking Periprosthetic Support Proximal Femur Cable-Plate System. They have a cannulated structure for easy placement over the guide wire. The lengths of these screws with cancellous threads range from 50-115mm in 5mm increments.
